Uriah Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 I have noticed that the view from the cockpit is very shaky even with head shake turned off. I have TrackIR and just use the default setting for CLOD and BOX. i have none of this shaking view in BOX. Any ideas on what is going on?
5th_Barone Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 If you mean online is because that's a server setting. You could have it off but if the server has it on the effect will be active.
Pail Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 I use the mouse to look and I get some shaking from PC making the table vibrate with the optic mouse.....could your mouse still be working and be responsible ? just an idea
YoYo Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Shaking of view like: Turns, demage of engine, open flaps, open gear, shooting, stall, taxi, take off/landing on the ground are independed modelled. They are very nice and realistc feature.

Uriah Posted December 30, 2017 Author Posted December 30, 2017 YoYo, the cat seams content. I am not. I am using TrackIR. Maybe there is a sensitivity setting?
Sokol1 Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 In some situations - like mentioned by YoYo, the view shake. This is a camera effect, not really in plane structure, the shake is not visible in external view. But in steady flying no shake at all, is perfect possible read instruments. Your problem is not caused be game configurations.
EAF_51_FOX Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 (edited) This optical shake effect IMHO isn't realistic at all but only derived from movie enhaicement hollywood style: try to look at anything in front of you even if you are on a train or a car running: you don't notice any structural movement on the screen border because your hears liquid togheter with your brain start compensate any visual shaking. EAF_51_FOX Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Really -no- I'm not joking, you post a -video- and a camera don't have human hears or brain. Try simply to drive your car and think about if you see your cockpit shaking: you will not.
Uriah Posted December 31, 2017 Author Posted December 31, 2017 I've flow in two seatter small planes in the summer. There is a lot jolting and bouncing about but never was my view so jumpy as it is in this game. I was hoping there was something I could do to 'fix' it as it might be some problem with TrackIR. it is so bad it is hard to use the mouse to switch on and off the magnitudes using the mouse in the cockpit.
Sokol1 Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Simple, just test the same mission with TrackIR disabled, then you confirm - or not, if this is the cause of issue.
spart_sk Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 It was camera shaking option. I was not able to fly and put crosshair on the target. Plane was bouncy all over the place. When I turned off camera shake game finally feels comparable to DCS and BOS feel and precision. It was not joystick curves problem! Ressurecting the post but it helped me a lot and I am happy. A wanted to throw the game away.
