YoYo Posted December 25, 2017 Posted December 25, 2017 Yes I know, it's a feature from old time of CoD (and I like it!) but is it possible to tone down % no opening of parachute? It looks like it wasn't touch for 4.5. It looks for me like for 6 jumps, 4 has a problem with parachute and pilot dies. Just idea.
Sokol1 Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 This is funny and this pilot will "revive" in the next "Restart". In the QM Spit intercept He-111 over London the parachute never open, but in others is rare - don't know online.
ACG_KaiLae Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 It's a bit ludicrous and always has been. In our campaign missions you only bail out as a literal last resort because the slang term for bailing out is the "russian suicide handle". Something like 50% of the bailouts will have some kind of malfunction. You always want to crash land if you can.
Sokol1 Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 Did some test in Quick Mission, my initial guess is that this failures are related with map area - as in SP I avoid London area and don't see much failures, but is not. What I observe is if the mission has He-111, Ju-88 or Wellington, failure happens 99.9% of time.
