[CoD] speech volume

I have a problem with the balance of the volume of speech in the game. My AI-wingmen are so soft they are inaudible. In "options" one can turn up the volume but because they are drowned out by the ambient sounds of cockpit and engine that is no help. I know most of the time their talking makes not much sense but it is helpful when they call out bandits. Now I have a message window open so I can read what is said but it would  be nice to understand them. Am I missing something obvious?

No, what you can adjust is what you already do.

 

If don't help keep the text window open.

 

The only other thing you can try is reduce the overall volume of game and keep "Voice" in 100%, but as you already noted, what they talk 99% of time is useless chit-chat like "My engine is dead, returning back to base".

It would've been nice if I could've fixed it but it is after all a minor nuisance in an otherwise great game.
