Head tracker not working.

I am currently running Track IR 5, if anyone is wondering, and I am having a wonderful time trying to get this to work.

Getting the game working has been nothing but a fight for me, other issues besides the ones I am experiencing leave me feeling extremely disgusted, I apologize if there has already been something posted about this, but I am losing my patience, I have tried a multitude of things, and the game seems to just fail to recognize my head tracking software all together, I have tried going to kea bindings and assigning it to things, I have tried turning the game on and off and turning IR Tracker on and off in certain orders, and all efforts have failed. 

in ROF as soon as I had head tracker on, and I turned on the game i didn't have to mess with a single setting within the game, just make some adjustments to the head tracker itself, but now I am fighting and fighting and fighting to get it to work, with no success. 

would anyone have any idea as to why my head tracker is failing to work?
