Blitz Frame Rate Issues

I have enjoyed many hours on V4.5 on Steam where I get about 30 FPS. I have now downloaded BLITZ edition but it is unplayable as the FPS has dropped down to 8 to 10. All settings are the same between the two versions. My computer spec is i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.40GHz, NVIDIA GeForce 840M,16 GB Ram, 1 TB Disc Space. Very frustrating!! Any help would be very much appreciated. Thankyou.

Your laptop is a little weak for TF 4.5.  (I assume you had been playing TF 4.312 previously)

 

Both your cpu and video card are not up to the requirements... your RAM is ok.

 

The only thing I can suggest is make sure your far shadows are turned off, trees down to 'low', buildings to 'low', grass off, terrain textures low, etc.

 

The only real solution to allow you to play the game well is to get a new system.
