Reflections/Praise

Let me say, I am a bit biased.  I, firstly, not only prefer, the western front, but have little to no interest at all in the eastern front.  Secondly, I really love the whole, "systems modeling" ala DCS and A2A Simulations.  Nether of these, this particular sim focus on.

However, the developers of THIS sim/game have worked really hard over the last few years in bringing to the market a sim/game that is a good compromise (for the most part) between a game and a simulation.  A game that actually WORKS and works well.

 

Having spent time in DCS 2.2.0 Normandy and IL2-Blitz (two other sims/games that more closely reflect my interests), I have to say, this particular title is miles ahead in stability and content.

This sim has several maps, planes, a campaign for each title (albeit not as good as it could be) and it is, in comparison (esp to DCS 2.2.0 Normandy) extremely stable.  AND to top all this off, they have already almost completed a MAJOR update which offers many new and exciting features and are planning another series of interesting and exciting content additions.  And all at a reasonable price when compared to other flight sim offerings out there.

 

Unlike other titles (of which, as I have stated, interest me a bit more), the developers here actually delver in a timely fashion.  Sometimes, with some slight delays but nothing so crazy as to be unacceptable.

 

I have been, in the past, and, in my opinion, not entirely without reason, extremely critical of this title and its developers.  However, I do recognize that they have done an awesome amount of work here and done it very well and for that I say:

p.s.  If, at some point the resources and desire become available to code in more complex and "sim-like" systems along the line of A2A and DCS, I would be more than willing to support this ($$).....
