Interesting collection, but why on Earth aren't there any documents on VVS planes?

 

In general Soviet aircraft of WW2 are the ones most deeply mired in controvercy over their performance. To completely overlook them seems to me a strange way to prioritize.

No particular reason. If you go to the Russian archives, find, copy and translate performance test reports, and send everything to Neil and Mike, I'm sure they'll be more than happy to host the documents. Someone's just got to do it.

 

But even without info on Soviet WW2 era aircraft, it is the single best site on WW2 aircraft I know. And it is free.
