Cessna trim wheel, possible to assign other than 109?

Is there a way to asing the Cessna trim wheel to more planes than the 109?

I did asign trim down and trip up using the Cessna Wheel but in flight doesnt do anything, only works with the 109

and with I16 too, its not possible to use a hotas control in all the other AC, they need a key assigment to configure the trim up/down/left/right and neutral.
