I've posted this on the BOS Technical Issues Forum in Steam and I've written support here but still haven't gotten any response, so I figured I d try posting in this forum also to see if I can get any help.........

Ok I've all but given up on trying to get BOS working in VR with the Dell Visor on Steam. I've messed around with all the video settings and everything else I can think of but I still keep getting the error "#10001 Error Occurred During Mission Generation Process" whenever I go to launch a mission.. I have all the Vive & Revive and Oculus software set up and running but and when starting game the menus come up fine and all that, but when launching a mission the error comes up and I get stuck. I kind of get the feeling the problems not related my video settings or my headset but rather in the program itself, as for some goofy reason it gets stuck when trying to launch a mission! Seems as if the problem was with my equipment I wouldn't be able to get into the game and see the menus to begin with, or what I see in my headset would be all screwed up! The only thing else left I can think of doing is deleting the game and DL'ing it all over again but I've already gone as far as going into the game properties on Steam and clicking on "verify integrity of game files" and they all checked out good! All my other Steam VR games I've played work fine and this is the only one I've having problems with, any one have any ideas? I sure would love to play this thing in VR! I've played it in regular 2D Steam mode before and everything worked fine, its only in VR mode I have problems.

i get the same problem #10001: Error occurred during mission generation process

 

When i try to do any campaign.

 

windows 10

amd rx480

i5 6600k 3.5GHz

16 Gb ram 

2x 252 GB SSD in raid for root 

4 TB HDD

I fixed this by uninstalling the game completely (deleting all files and folders after uninstallation via Steam) and reinstalling it.

Im getting this too, not using VR. Happens if I start any kind of mission.
