Doogerie Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 as above i am gatinaga new mac for xmas. I will still have my PC that should run it well but the mac seems to be a FAR FAR better os then windows so iwas wondering will I ever be abel to get this for the mac as that seems to be the way that the Industry is going at the momentif not well see you in the vertual skys anyway
Zoring Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 (edited) I think you should re-think your supposition that MacOS is a better operating system than Windows, particularly as a gaming platform. You will find that Windows as of August 2012 has a 91% Market share as opposed to the Mac, so it seems unlikely that Mac will overpower the industry anytime soon. As far as BOS coming to Mac, can't answer that, I imagine a lot of effort would be required for the port and Mac's may not be powerful enough to run it anyway, depends on the success of BOS and the difficulty of the port I would think. SKG51_robtek Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 A Mac just isn't a gaming machine, it is a working machine, for people who prefer trouble free before options.
J4SCrisZeri Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Im a Mac user at work since the early 90s, I appreciate those machines, expecially in my field (design and graphics stuff) but I must say pc-win is another planet when it comes to play And I dont really know if this title will ever see a Mac porting...
Zoring Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 I work in Graphic Design too, and it has always puzzled me why people believe that the Mac is nessescary for it, since we are all just using identical cross platform Adobe products anyway. Not to get off topic, but I guess these companies like to spend more money for no reason 1
FlatSpinMan Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 I'm running the alpha on my Windows7 bootcamped iMac. When get the full map I suspect there'll be trouble, although I'm going to install extra RAM soon. My wife bought this machine but neither of would ever consider buying one again, looks and compactness aside.
