Issues with engine outlet flaps of FW190 A5

The game takes over control of engine outlet flaps of the FW190 A5, even when I fly with expert difficulty.

When this issue started, the game set the flaps to 45% opening, meanwhile it sets them to 10% opening. When I open the flaps more, or close them, the game sets them back to 10%.

The real 190 has automatic cowl shutters. It is not „the game“ it is the aircraft. You‘re not supposed to fiddle with those shutters unless your Kommandogerät doesn‘t work propperly anymore (wich might be the end of your sortie anyway).

No, the cowling shutters are manual only and not controlled by the Kommandogerät at all.

Then you probably have the command bound to an axis by mistake and the axis is overruling the control. Maybe check the control bindings in the setting.

Yes, you are right. I set engine outlet flaps on the throttle axis of my joystick, and it worked pretty fine in the beginning. But now that you mentioned it, I looked into my settings and found, that it is the same key as engine outlet first engine, which I set for the Ju88 to an axis of my second throttle quadrant, and the throttle of my joystick obviously gets overruled by the throttle quadrant. But it seems to work correctly, when I set the throttle axis of my throttle quadrant to zero. I will have an eye on it.

Thanks for your help, very appreciated.
