JimTM Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 (edited) I setup all my axis controls OK in the Controls screen and clicked Apply, but the throttle and prop pitch controls do not respond or respond very little in the cockpit. The flight control axes work fine. The install went fine and created brand new user settings directory under 1C SoftClub. The program starts fine, with no other obvious issues. Running max graphic settings in triple-monitor config. I have the following hardware, which is running perfectly in BoX, DCS, and X-Plane: - CH Fighterstick - CH Throttle Quadrant - CH Pro-Pedals (toe brakes inoperative due to wire break) I setup the axes for the following engine controls and tested in a Spit IIa: - Throttle: Reverse, All sliders set to the left except "100% position" is set to the right. The Out/In indicators respond properly through the full range. Assignment: CH_Throttle_Quadrant_USB-7358CB83+Key 21 CH_Throttle_Quadrant_USB-7358CB83+RY Axis - Prop Pitch: Same as throttle except not reversed Assignment: CH_Throttle_Quadrant_USB-7358CB83+Key 13 CH_Throttle_Quadrant_USB-7358CB83+X Axis In the cockpit, I tried cycling the throttle and pitch and saw: - No prop pitch response in the indicator icon or the actual control. - A very small throttle response in the indicator and the actual control. I tried the same test with the throttle not reversed. In this case, the throttle was stuck at full open and would not respond. Vig Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 I have a CH Fighterstick and Pro-Pedals as well and my controls are not responding correctly either. Using Win 10 64.
No105_Swoose Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 @JimTM and Vig: I hope someone from Team Fusion addresses your concerns. I also have a CH setup with a Flight Stick Pro, Pro Throttle and Pro Pedals running with Windows 10 64-bit on a triple monitor setup. I was going to purchase CloD Blitz but will hold off until I'm sure it will work with my rig and HOTAS. Team Fusion has a site specifically for tracking problems. You may want to post the issues there: https://www.tfbt.nuvturais.de
69thSpiritus Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Can you try mapping just the axis of your throttle? So instead of this: assignment: CH_Throttle_Quadrant_USB-7358CB83+Key 21 CH_Throttle_Quadrant_USB-7358CB83+RY Axis Get this: CH_Throttle_Quadrant_USB-7358CB83+RY Axis 1
JimTM Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 (edited) Just saw your post 69thSpiritus_Mortem after I completed mine here. Looks like we reached the same conclusion. Update: I noticed that I can get the throttle to work if I do this: 1. Move the throttle fully forward. 2. Double-click on the control assignment in the setting screen and clear it if it's not empty. 3. Move the throttle slightly back. This results in a shorter assignment code than I gave in my opening post, that is, CH_Throttle_Quadrant_USB-7358CB83+RY Axis rather than CH_Throttle_Quadrant_USB-7358CB83+Key 21 CH_Throttle_Quadrant_USB-7358CB83+RY Axis For some reason, the throttle quadrant adds the extra code if you move the control through most of it's travel. I had the same result with prop pitch control. Edited December 17, 2017 by JimTM
Sokol1 Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 CH_Throttle_Quadrant_USB-7358CB83+Key 21 CH_Throttle_Quadrant_USB-7358CB83+RY Axis This "key 21" indicates that this throttle axis press a button at start of their course. CloD allow use a button or key for modify an axis behavior, resulting that only when this button is pressed - what happens briefly at start of throttle course, the game receive throttle command, resulting in this "Murphy Law" effect. 1
PB0_Foxy Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 same problem for me When I see my throttle responding correctly in the IN indication. The OUT indication doesn't move the same way at all. I'm using a HOTAS warthog
Sokol1 Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 When I see my throttle responding correctly in the IN indication. The OUT indication doesn't move the same way at all. Throttle OUT match IN indication based on adjust of sliders for "100% position" and "0% position". Check this. "100% position" slider need be all for right, if are for left the throttle response became limited. This "100% position" adjust is useful for match the game 100% throttle with the "afterburner" detent of Warthog/Cougar throttle, programming this detent for press the button for "Boost Cut-Out:ON/OFF" if you move the Warthog throttle beyond the detent are "going through the wire" and automatically using the boost (110% throttle), without need press key/button and move the throttle back and forth slight, like when set the "100% position" matching 100% of stick throttle curse. In the same way the "0% position" could be use for start the engine just moving the throttle slight from their 0% position. Then became obvious that if both sliders are near center position the throttle response became very limited, almost a ON/OFF. For a conventional throttle without the detent positions this adjust don't represent advantage nor are practical to use. The other sliders is for adjust deadzones as usual.
PB0_Foxy Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 Thx sokol that was the problem ! By default my 100% position slider was completely on the left
