Using controls assignment from previous version.

Recommend only for (lazy) "advanced users" - or at least for one that know what are doing. :)

Install Blitz, go to Options > Controls > Axes and assign an axis of your joystick for some surface control, e.g. aileron, hit APPLY, close the game.

Now go to Documents\1C soft... dover and locate and open the file ConfUser.ini  and using a text editor, e.g. Notepad++/Notepad (don't use Wordpad, Word and similar).

Near end of file locate the section [HotKey_pilotMove], here are the new name for your joystick, example: VKBsim_Tiny_BOX_-91C0D62D

Copy this new name.

Now open the ConfUser.ini from previous versions, here joystick, throttle, rudder... is called Joystick0, Joystick1... etc.

Use the text editor REPLACE function and replace:

Joystick0 (or 1, 2...) with the new name, e.g. the VKBsim_Tiny_BOX_-91C0D62D

BTW - CloD controls don't have a button for "Load defaults" (as in Il-2:46, Bo'X), to do this is need delete the file ConfUser.ini from Documents\1C Soft...

The "default" file - the same of CloD early versions, with the same 'bug"/errors is copied from game folder. Don't mess with .ini files in game folder, they are backup. Edit only in Documents\1C Soft...
