TyphoonOneB Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrWygSVAmPk&feature=youtu.be This is my Gun Camera concept that I'm sure some of you will like. I recorded shooting down a 109 with a 109 and edited it to look like the camera was in front of my plane. 2
=BKHZ=Furbs Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Looks good, though maybe the shake is slightly overdone, to my eyes anyway. Well done though.

Emgy Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 (edited) Cool. I viewed it in at 25% speed, (http://www.youtube.com/html5) gun shake effect slowed down, but then the video plays only at 7.5FPS... hint hint Edited December 23, 2013 by Calvamos
Cybermat47 Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Great job! Now remove the sound, screw up the quality, put it in black and white, and we have a winner

Now remove the sound, screw up the quality, put it in black and white, and we have a winner Hey I would have done all that if I had a decent editor Consider it raw colour footage and put the volume down to 0 and the quality to 240p Edited December 23, 2013 by TyphoonOneB
Emgy Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Sorry? Oh I just meant if you do another of these, might be cool to slow the speed of the track and record in slow-mo. Something to try out. But it looks good in 100% speed anyway.

Rjel Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 I've posted this before. This was made in IL-2 using a Java program called Guncam. It makes a series of still frames that you then turn into a gif file. It's an old program, a pain to use but it simulates gun camera film very well. I wish someone would update it to make it more user friendly and record at a higher resolution.

A little higher res would be welcomed.
79_vRAF_Friendly_flyer Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 That Guncam thing looks promising.
