dd_delta7 Posted December 15, 2017 Author Posted December 15, 2017 (edited) Solved by putting the 1C softclub folder in MyDocuments in my exceptions but still a bit worrying Edited December 15, 2017 by dd_delta7
eRoN Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 I have AVG and game won't launch. I tried this and didn't work for me, additionally adding the game directory into exceptions too. I also never got a notification from AVG ransomware detection at any point either.
Mitthrawnuruodo Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 Some might disagree, but I recommend that you do not use AVG or any other antivirus software. Antivirus is becoming increasingly useless because it offers almost no protection and interferes with legitimate programs. Antivirus will not save you if you do dangerous things with your computer.
dd_delta7 Posted December 16, 2017 Author Posted December 16, 2017 yes I disagree, all other programs including battle of stalingrad and il246 have no problems with AVG so no reason this should give threat warnings
Team Fusion Buzzsaw Posted December 17, 2017 Team Fusion Posted December 17, 2017 It is important to turn off your Anti-Virus when installing the game from Steam... you should be able to turn it back on after installation. You also may need to add an exception to the AV for the CoD-Blitz .exe.
