The new content is very nice. 

But I can´t find the He 111, Ju 88 ore the Ju87. "Blitz" without the german bomber- epic fail. Will wait till we get them...

I have not heard of anyone who has this problem... suggest you verify the install through Steam.

Blitz appears as a separate game in the Steam library.

 After leaving steam and restart several times. It's good it works for me.

Please open Steam, check your games library and see if there is a separate listing for 'Blitz'.

 

If there is, then you are required to install it.

I went on the page of the Steam store, in green it was indicated that the game was part of my library Steam while offering the opportunity to buy it ...: hum:

 

I clicked on "play now" and this unlocked the launch of CLODO Blitz.

Thanks for this early christmas present! I appreciate all the hard work.

 

One suggestion for the developers after clicking through the menus in 'Blitz': Either put in a neutral background in /Options/Realism or add shadows to the font. Several background images - as nice as they are - make the pure white font unreadable and as such the realism options not usable until a new background is loaded when entered with the next visit of the sub-menu!

Not sure.  I went to permanently delete and it told me it was linked to Blitz and it would delete both.

Is advisable you do this before install Blitz - can rename the actual 1c soft folder in documents to keep a backup of your personal files (skins, custom SP missions, SP campaign progress...). Joystick configuration files is not usable, due changes in joystick detection:

In that way you have a clean new install.

Like in the original game put a _ in the Intro.mov  (_Intro.mov) in the folder: ...SteamApps\IL-2 Cliffs of Dover\parts\core\GUI disable - will disable... until you do STEAM files verification.

Please make sure you run the game as an admin... create your documents folder as admin.

Regarding anyone having an issue with crashes:

 

For initial diagnostics it is best to post the full crash error you see come up.

 

Some of these errors are easily linkable to a cause.

For example in the error you might see the following:

The "BadImageFormatException" is because something is running at 32 bits (either windows or an overlay running in the background).

The "PermissionDeniedException" is due to not having permissions to read or write some file. Most likely due to not running the game as an Admin, or previously having created the Documents folder as an Admin and not doing it for the 4.5 install.

 

We recommend those who are having problems to enable the logfile.

 

This is done in the conf.ini file in your Documents/1C SoftClub/il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover/ folder.
