162nd-YU-Markoni Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 While watching a video of Cliffs of Dover multiplayer i saw a photo in a cockpit. I presume this feature is missing in BoX. Will it be implemented in future? Its interesting. 1
Finkeren Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 No, it’s not missing in my oppinion. “Missing” would indicate, that it ought to be there in the first place. 2
Dakpilot Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 I imagine there is a chance of this with mods on mode? Did some of the RoF mods do some changes to cockpit textures? Different language instruments, I can't remember Cheers, Dakpilot

OrLoK Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 possible upcoming modging was rumoured to allow changes in cockpit textures, so it's pseudo possible if we get that access. 1
Lensman Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 An earlier version of IL-2 facilitated the wrapping of a head picture onto the pilot in your aircraft (exterior view) so 'you' could be flying your plane.

SCG_Fenris_Wolf Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 For Oculus Rift players it is possible. Can drag and drop and pin a photo into the cockpit. You can also change it on the fly!
CanadaOne Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 I'm waiting for the official "Virtual Nonsense Cosmetics Store". Need some bling in the pit.
mrvile Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 For Oculus Rift players it is possible. Can drag and drop and pin a photo into the cockpit. You can also change it on the fly! Haha of course! You can even pin one of those new-fangled "moving pictures" to the cockpit, in full technicolor!

This was also possible in RoF with Mods On mode, so maybe it will work here too, once we get that.

Uufflakke Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 I'm waiting for the official "Virtual Nonsense Cosmetics Store". Need some bling in the pit. In IL2:1946 I pimped up my good old I-16. With polar bear fur all over the place and pictures of my b*tches. 3
Ribbon Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 In IL2:1946 I pimped up my good old I-16. With polar bear fur all over the place and pictures of my b*tches. I have it now in BoX, on bombers engine cowlings so i only need to look trought the cockpit window . Skinning is good! It should be there. Then I could have Jessica Alba in the cockpit with me. Trooper117 Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Got rid of the wife... the last thing I need is a picture of her in every plane I fly... yuk! 1
sniperton Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 @Uufflakke: the Crucifix with The Lady With The Broad Arse on the lower left might be a little bit frightening even for Jesuits of the hardest kind.
