TyphoonOneB Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2mc3aiKSIKA&feature=c4-feed-u Does anyone know if the devs are going to make the animation any more sophisticated than it already is like the DCS P-51D bailout animation? http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kIL8385ERy0
HeavyCavalrySgt Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Hmmm - is that bailout sequence different if you are inverted or under negative G?
TyphoonOneB Posted December 23, 2013 Author Posted December 23, 2013 Hmmm - is that bailout sequence different if you are inverted or under negative G? I think so! Something that was overlooked by the devs. BoS's one is more universal which I like.
Wandalen Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 This ones looks good, but for some reason it was not put in the game :-( looks good.
BeastyBaiter Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Is that spit pilot going for afternoon tea or bailing out? Honestly, I can't see anyone jumping from a crashing plane like that. I like BoS's best of the three shown. DCS's looks good too though.
Cybermat47 Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 The CloD one looks a bit off... I love the DCS: World one where the guy just strikes this really strange pose after he gets to ground. One time he went in a river, hovered on it before getting into his pose, and when he got into his pose he sank.
79_vRAF_Friendly_flyer Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Realistically, didn't most pilots (to the degree possible) loosen the harness, do a half roll and simply fall free of the cockpit?
BeastyBaiter Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Pretty much, another common method was to kick the stick forwards after unbuckling yourself. That's what we seem to have in BoS.
