My two cents... ++ The skin was posted in this thread for 24 hours and downloaded 6 times. Its been in the new thread for 2 hours and been downloaded over 20 times. My assumption from this is that people are not looking at a template thread for skins. 1
PatCartier Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 ok ! I think the ideal would be that the admins dissociate two separate forums: one for templates, the other for skins 4k. C'est la vie^^ 1 1
RaFiGer Posted May 28, 2018 Posted May 28, 2018 I agree complet with you! We should have a Separation between Templates & Skins
spudkopf Posted August 12, 2018 Posted August 12, 2018 (edited) G'day ICDP I'm really enjoying using this template, as I do with all your templates and would like to thank you for all your ongoing efforts and dare I say the love that you put into them. I generally only make skins for my own use, that are historically based yet generic, as my personal preference for the sake of immersion is to not fly around in some ace's or even someone else's ride. So your templates fit that bill very nicely as a basis for me making my skins. Being inspired by my recent travels, over the weekend I pulled together the following from your template, I know its the wrong E type, but as we have no E3 in game this will just have to do. This is the one of the four generic skins that I've made that cover the long service life of the Swiss Es, all skins still need to be tweaked with the correct the bilingual German / French stenciling and maybe some less aggressive metal weathering, but thought I'd show off this initial skin's first test flight anyway. Again many thanks for your the excellent work that you do, that makes the following kind of thing possible. P.S. Sorry for the poor quality of the images as I needed to use Facebook to get them to my current PC, will re-upload them when I get back home. P.P.S. Better quality images now loaded. Cheers Edited August 13, 2018 by spudkopf 3

But, just one little thing. Do me a favor and change the girlfriends name on this one - I don't want other people having the impression that the Swiss pilots shared the same young lady... Imagine the whole squadron having the same name on the planes? Now, that would rise up some speculations, isn't it? Cheerio 1

Cheerio Opps, now I've manage to give my wife a reputation, no wonder she migrated to Oz!

spudkopf Posted August 13, 2018 Posted August 13, 2018 It's OK, as an immersion thing I do put her name on all my personal skins, so I guess she does manage to get around a bit and on both sides for that matter

Here Hi Marco, Thank you for the Schg1 skins! I really like these. The only thing i noticed is that the new version has an error with the oil and water radiators. These seem to be transparent.
