56RAF_phoenix56 Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 I've been struggling to avoid a nasty ground loop on landing the F4 in the crosswind. Taking off is easy enough, lock the tail wheel, keep the stick back and tail down until fast enough, then stick forward to keep it stuck until rotation. Any tips on landing? 56RAF_phoenix
HeavyCavalrySgt Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Once you are on the ground, max aileron into the wind; really it keeps the wing from lifting. Rudder as normal, and little blasts of power to give the rudder authority. 1
