how does one private message someone on this forum ... looking to get in touch with an old friend ...hence the title Bearcat99

There is (was?) a moderator by the name Bearcat (no 99).

 

Search in the top right search bar and make sure to select members instead of forum.

Yep Bearcat is still around, saw him post on something a few days ago.

He is just not as active as he used to be.

I was feeling nostalgic and tried to reload my old IL2 disks on my system and couldn't get them to work, so I downloaded it off Steam and it works better than I ever remember.  Now I see all these wonderful new generation, ultra-realistic  IL 2 sims, including an upcoming Bodenplatte version.  I'm looking forward to that.

 

Then I decided to see what forums were left out there and found this site.  Looks like more than a few old names are at home here.

Click in tab MEMBERS above, in SEARCH type Bearcat.

 

Ate 3 guys with this name, but no Bearcat99.
