LLv24_Zami Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Today we celebrate 100th year of independence of our nation. It`s not always been an easy journey but we have made it. Today, Finland is one of the wealthiest nations in the world in every standard and it`s a great achievement. There are many people who has made this possible but specially our veterans deserve highest gratitude and respect for making the ultimate sacrifice for our future. Could not have done without them. I am very proud of my country and it`s a privilege to be a Finn. My fellow Finns, enjoy the day with your family and friends! I will be working tonight but I`m sure I`ll get the day off when Finland celebrates it`s 200th birthday 10
Mitthrawnuruodo Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Their achievements during times of grave danger are astounding.
216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Happy independence day, Finland! While I couldn't find a nice Moomin cartoon to add to this post, I did find this vaguely related gem.

Heliopause Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Btw I have a question about Finnish plane FK.52 "KO-130" which was lost on 16th aug 1941 near Visele, Estonia. Any Fins here that know the exact location of this town? (question comes from another forum).
