Many people in this forum is wondering how good is VR with IL-2, but buying a VR device is costly. (and even more the PC required).

Now you can rent a Rift or Vive in many cities around the world. I don´t know the prices but if someone try, please let us know how much is about.

Since more VR devices are arriving to the market, these rentals will be good to decide what VR device to buy.

Wow!

That includes the PC and touch controllers. What about just the rift with sensors?

Oculus Rift as low as $64.14/Day Package Includes: VR Headset, Touch Controllers, Gaming PC, Controller, Headphones, and Many Games

not exactly cheap, eh? :)

Not cheap, but if you compare it to the alternative of spending maybe 30-40 times that much money (for the VR equipment and a new high-end PC to run it well) without knowing whether you like it or not, it may be money well spent.

I think the problem is that these rentals are really designed for commercial hire for something like a conference or show booth.   In many cases what many of us would like to do is just borrow the VR kit for a week to try on our own computer.  It has to be more than day hire because it will take a day or two to get it set up and working well enough to give it a fair trial,
