Sketch Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 As I began a CAP over one of our objectives, I notice a BF110 a little lower than me, heading East towards the objective I was protecting. Not on my watch! I proceed to perform a shallow dive on him and blasted his right engine. Then, I rolled up and over him and noticed that I would be too late in destroying him before he gets his ordinance off. I panic a little bit because I wanted to save the objective, but I quickly recover my plane. Beginning my dive on the enemy again, I target that right engine with my 50. He gets his bombs off, but they mostly miss their intended target. He turns hard left for home, and setup a high yo yo to keep my speed up. As I draw up on his six, I carefully lined up my shots with the 50 cal. Once I had him targeted in with my 50s, I laid into the enemy with all I got. His wing rips off like butter, and a nice big explosion let's me know he's done. As I begin to ascend Eastward, I see an La5 really slow, and a 190 diving on him hard. I can only communicate to this La5 with text, so I warn him that an enemy is near. 666 La5!! To little - too late, the La5 takes a big hit to his engine as the 190 blast away Northward. I don't have as much energy as the fast mover, but I turn towards the 190 to give chase anyway. As I do, I see another bomber that's turning right into my gun sights! I fire relentlessly. His tail gets peppered and falls off like it wasn't meant to be there. Another explosion confirms the kill. After the explosion, I look frantically for the 190 that buzzed the La5 earlier. Just then, I get attacked by a 109 that low and doesn't have much more energy than myself. I slow it down, and let him overshoot me in a rolling scissors maneuver. He pulls up hard. That's right were I want you 109. Another wing sawed off nicely, and a parachute deploys to confirm my 3rd kill in quick session. Before I could celebrate, another fighter swoops down on me. I roll right, and bank hard left. Ping, ping, ping! My plane is hit, but only light damage. I'm definitely shaken, and as I look back two CIA fighters are in hot pursuit of the enemy that engaged me. Hell yes! Get'm boys. With low ammo and slight plane damage, I decided I had enough. I let the CIA guys do their work, and I headed home to fight another day. 3
