vx111vx111swift Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 When I start The game my fans on PC starting running on High. No were else does this occur. Perhaps a setting I did wrong. If anyone has knowledge of tdhis problem please advise
GridiroN Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 The game's main menu is an in game rendering, which will activate your GPU.
Guest deleted@83466 Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 (edited) Meaning, you're fine. Your CPU and GPU fans are supposed to spin up to dissipate the heat that comes from increased processing loads. The only concern here would be if your fans didn't spin up, in which case your machine would fry itself. Edited December 3, 2017 by Iceworm
SharpeXB Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 The menu and GUI in this game actually run your graphics cards pretty high. Their fans will spin up accordingly.
vx111vx111swift Posted December 3, 2017 Author Posted December 3, 2017 OK thanks for the replies I was a little concerned.
TRRA15 Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Yeah, don't worry. This sim generates some heat. I remember once while I was between sorties, I noticed the side cover was hot to the touch. Now, when I fly, I remove the side cover of my PC and velcro on my homemade "air dam" to allow the fans to channel the heat overboard. Works pretty good too, since my "den" room is always the coolest in the house, and so I get some free heating.
