Inserting Images and videos

It seems I always forget how to do this. I remember there should be a way to upload directly the image in a post without going through servers (like photobucket or others) and url address. How was that done?

For youtube videos paste the link in the body of the message and when you submit the comment it will just turn into a video.

 

To attach pictures you have to use the full editor (see the button next to "post". There are some size limitations and the way they show up is not as nice as the photobucket type ones.

Photobucket has lost the plot, to host third party images on forums etc they want to charge a fees to do so. I find this site to be more useful  https://imgur.com/

 

For those not in the know, just copy the direct link for the picture you uploaded say in Imgur and click the little picture (image)  icon in the interface on the message box in this forum, paste the link and hey presto.
