6./ZG26_Klaus_Mann Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 Because these Guys have done Magic to FSX/P3D. Accu-Sim and Captain of the Ship transformed the Original Game in my Opinion. 2
Lusekofte Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 Always been interested in the A2A B 17, but that airliner looked awesome
ZachariasX Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 Always been interested in the A2A B 17, but that airliner looked awesomeTo me, the 377 Stratocruiser package „Capatin of the Ship“ completely redefined what a flight simulator can be. The Constellation is now a more modern implementation of the same. Together with a good weather simulation plus scenery (especially a good terrain mesh), these two are products like no other. Dehli to Bejing over the hump on real weather, trying to maintain a comfortable ride... No need for enemy fighters to be greatly enterained.
xvii-Dietrich Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 Yep... the A2A-AccuSim series are superb. Not just flight simulation, but engine-, crew-, passengers-, avionics-, comms- and maintenance-simulation. They model quite a few warbirds too... the P-51 Mustang, Spitfire, B-17 Flying Fortress and T-6 Texan have a particularly high reputation. And, the fact they are in P3D/FSX means there is the entire world, with all the scenery, airports, weather, nav-aids, etc. to go with it. What they don't have, however, is a true weapons-damage model. That is where IL-2:BoX, RoF and other such titles continue to excel.
6./ZG26_Klaus_Mann Posted December 3, 2017 Author Posted December 3, 2017 (edited) Just imagine A2A and 777/1C getting their Heads together. Gunners on Captain of the Ship Level, Accusim Aircraft management. And just one or two bits of the entire A2A Experience in the Game, especially engine management.
