Why cant I fly in a Spitfire?

Can anyone please explain why I cant spawn into a Spitfire, please?

Do you have the Kuban map?

Are you tying to play online Cam? Is the aircraft available in the map? Is it on a server where you have to have to earn it with combat missions?

yes, you need to be more specific, have you tried it on Singleplayer. And was not the Spit and HS 129 collectors plane in Kuban pack?

He obviously pre-ordered BOK Premium ( as he has the badge), which comes with the collector planes ( Spitfire and Hs-129).

Going to need more info. It says you own BOK so hopefully you can just hop into the quick mission builder and set one up on a runway for some flying time.

Only way you can fly it at least for the next few weeks until BoK is officially released, is to either choose it in a quick mission. Highly recommend the two flights each side option. Big furballs are fun, or if you just want to fly it choose free flight and start from parked.

 

Or the other way is in Multiplayer. Not all servers have the Spitfire available all of the time. "Berloga Duel and Dogfight" is an example of a server where it is permanently available though.

Also note that some multiplayer servers only allow for a certain amount of each plane and when the limit is reached the plane will appear greyed out(not able to be selected).  Since the BOK campaign doesn't exist yet the only way to fly the spit is to choose it in a quick mission or a user created mission or play a multiplayer map which allows the spit.

 

If you look in the single player missions category of the forum you will find a few downloadable spitfire missions.

Just go to quick mission, get 2 flights of 4 Spitfires and 2 flights of 4 FW 190s and just go get them.

 

I do wish the fur balls were bigger though. I used to like going to the quick mission generator and using the Tarnopol map(since all the Western Front stuff is well covered by the career). I would fill out all the flights with the Russian N 17s and Austro-Hungarian Albatross IIIs, and just enjoy the huge battle with 30 planes turning and firing at each other.
