226sqn-RCAF_LYNX Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 (edited) I just purchased the game and have started to get a D3D Error. This causes my game to instantly shut down. In addition, it only happens when I am playing a mission I have no idea what this is and, you do suggest reporting all errors. Any idea what it is and solutions to fix it? Thank you! Mugenr Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 I'm having the exact same problem. I've been looking for a few hours and nothing is helping.. pretty frustrating for a 70$ game
Lemon Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 hi, lowering gpu clock a bit fixed the problem for me, ( was little too much overclocked)
226sqn-RCAF_LYNX Posted December 15, 2017 Author Posted December 15, 2017 I am not over clocking my GPU in fact, if I set it any lower, it will not exist at all. I am really getting fed up with this, missions not counted, kills not counted, stats looking bad. I have spent 130$ on getting two extensions and cannot even play. I have followed all their suggestions and nothing works. About ready to demand my money back as I am still under the 30 days.
Lemon Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 i ll try to help, if i had the same problem, i would do that (and i often did) create a windows restore points for safety download latest video card driver restart windows in safe mode and uninstall video card drivers with ( ddu ) software i d open the add/remove programs tab of windows and uninstall : all Microsoft visual c++ (can be many) all Vulkan sdk run ccleaner or any good registry cleaner to fix registry restart windows install the video card driver ( the Microsoft visual, and vulkan should be re-installed automatically with the driver) Just use your preferred setting with the crimson panel if AMD, or Nvidia panel without any (tweaker) program , like radeon pro or nvidia inspector, for the time testing at least . Pretty sure something wrong in your system sir , few problems i had with this game was always cause something wrong in my system, because your 130$ you must try to fix it, the game worth it, good luck

Nothing wrong with my system. It is a new solid state drive. And I am not doing all that crap for a game that should have no issues after all the years it has been running. Period.

226sqn-RCAF_LYNX Posted December 18, 2017 Author Posted December 18, 2017 You did ask for help right? A few of us are having issues. Everyone is trying to figure it out. Yes. But the easy answer is always to blame it on the paying client. From what I discovered reading forums is that this is a known bug by the staff who work here. To continually turn around and blame everything on the paying customer really irks me to the very core. Just admit the issue is on the end of the vendor and give us a estimated time when it is going to be resolved and I will be happy. Keep insisting the problem is on my end, and I just get angrier and angrier. I play a lot of games, and I have found one consistent problem with the support of every game, they never accept responsibility. They always blame it on the customer. I find that very insulting.
Lemon Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 You are almost right , every computer games got problems, the only difference between a working game from a not working game is the system where it is installed on, and there is infinite numbers of hardware/software configs out there. The no D3D problems free games country is in Nintendo or any console games , where everyone got the same hardware/software. By the way, it was not an easy answer to a paying client like you said, you are not my customer, i m just a guy, a good guy actually, who play this game like many other who took time to help a perfect stranger who ASKED for solutions Congratulation for your brand new SSD , you ll get into D3D problems faster now.
Masked_Jugz Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 (edited) Man o man. What's your specs on your rig RCAF_LYNX. I'm running in into the same crash with a GTX 780 and the latest drivers. I hear if you roll back to older driver it works but I have yet to test that out. I'm kind of reluctant to do so because of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update Iwanttoplaysobad Edited January 5, 2018 by Masked_Jugz
jh-jiihoo Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 With newest drivers and updates it was impossible to fly due the d3d-error. It seems to be so that error is very common when you have gtx780. I have i5, 16 gb ram, gtx780 and win 10 64. I've tried every tricks and finally I had to roll back to nvidias driver 353.62. I uninstalled and reinstalled in safe mode using uninstaller tool from 3dgurus site. Now everything seems to be fine when flying.
