Game freeze with oculus

Hi all, i have a big problem with il2 and oculus. When i start a mision all goes fine for about 2 or 3 mins, after that the game freeze on oculus but sound continue to work. I need to close the game from windows forcing it to close.

 

Anyone have same problems?

Can you please elaborate a little more, ie what are your system specs? Motherboard, GPU, CPU, ram...

Is the Oculus a new installation or have you been using it for some time with no trouble?

Hi, my specs are i7 2600k OC TO 4.5GHZ, 16GB RAM, WIN 10 PRO, GTX TITAN,SSD 850 EVO.

 

I have oculus since day 1 without problems. All software runs good.

strange. you could try checking the FAQ troubleshooting page. There is something in there about unchecking the “Read Only” box somewhere in launcher.(right click: properties on launcher if i recall) worth. a try

Are you overclocking that Titan at all?

 

Reason I ask, is I was adding a little overclock to my EVGA 1080 Ti FTW3, and found I was getting that same behaviour occasionally. The game would freeze up in Oculus but sound continued to play.

 

I removed the overclock and returned to my default boost speed, and has not happened since - and this was a while ago.

No, i dont OC anything. I test with diferent driver versions, without luck. All my games with oculus runs good, but il2 freeze. Tested too with settings al lower detail and unnecesary software closed, nothing changes.

This is an old thread but I have the exact same problem, it might have to do with a nvidia driver since I didn't have this problem a year ago.

 

i7 6700k OC to 4.6GHz

16Gb RAM

WIN 10

GTX1080Ti
