Haza Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 (edited) Gents, I'm getting totally confused now when reviewing the forum as I usually identify the image against a person's name before reading their name. However, both Jason and VeryOldMan (VOM) appear to have very similar pictures, to the extent where I thought they were the same person (OK closer examination of dogs reveal different dogs) and end up reading VOM's posts thinking it is Jason! Therefore, I would request that Jason either puts a set of flying goggles or puts a Father Christmas hat on his dog now we are entering that time of year so that I know it is him!! Regards Are the dogs a Pug and a BullDog? Perhaps we should all change our pictures to Pugs. I guess I'm now thinking of that famous film with the saying: "No, I'm Spartacus (Jason)" Edited November 27, 2017 by Haza 2
curiousGamblerr Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 (edited) LOL have had the same problem a couple times, but Jason's posts are also green I think so it's not so bad. I believe they're both pugs but haven't double checked... PS speaking of user images, I think I'm about to change mine to the inverse (yellow writing on black background) to show mourning for the absolutely crapshow of a season BVB are having.... LuftManu Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Animals can be very confusing ... 43ccb6fc67673706dcd8fb6f69453254--photoshopped-animals-photoshop-images.jpg I have seen horrible things... 1
Lensman Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Perhaps we need to settle this by getting Jason's dog and VeryOldMan's dog into this sort of situation up against each other to see who deserves the right to be an icon:
Jason_Williams Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 That's my dog Gracie who is a Pug, but she may have a little something else in her. She was a rescue so we don't know for sure. She lives with her mom now after the divorce. I get to babysit. She was here for Thanksgiving weekend. Jason 13
[APAF]VR_Spartan85 Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 (edited) Awwwwww...this is why I want pinups in my virtual cockpit... I have my pitty in clod... By pitty I mean Pit bull. . Edited November 27, 2017 by spartan85

Lensman Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 (edited) My girlfriend's father got a pug puppy recently and she races around non-stop like a nuclear powered wind-up toy. After a few months of this he asked the breeder from whence she came at what age a pug calms down. The breeder just looked at him and laughed ... (They don't.) (I'm now presuming, having just written the above, that Jason will reveal that Gracie is the world's least frenetic and most calm canine!) Edited November 27, 2017 by Lensman
=EXPEND=CG_Justin Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 I wish I had a dog like this... But sadly, our 3 dogs, 1 umbrella cockatoo, and 2 cockatiels are in no way fused into a terrifying Griffon type creature. It's a shame really, something tells me it would do wonders for home protection. Nice looking doggos Blitz and Jason! 2
19//Moach Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Yes, The Dog agrees.... That's my big baby Poppins, sitting herself owningly upon "my spot". She's an exceptionally large, albeit pure bred, French Bulldog. Definitely not a Griffon type creature, she loves everyone and everything that moves is instantly her new best friend. People who do not desire licking of their faces are especially of interest to her, as they put on a challenge which she enjoys winning every time. 1

VeryOldMan Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 (edited) The dog in my avatar is my best friend in life, Frederico, that endures my flight hours with patience, sitting at my side and watching everything I do. Unfortunately I never managed to teach him to scan the horizon for fighters to help me :/ He is a very very calm pug that all he wants is sit by my side and watch what I am doing Edited November 28, 2017 by VeryOldMan 3

150GCT_Veltro Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Yes! With the third one at least, you have to take some time for fliying school before make it free.
Voidhunger Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Yes! With the third one at least, you have to take some time for fliying school before make it free. I really like the look of the Apus birds. (3rd one). Beautiful bird! 1

Unfortunately I never managed to teach him to scan the horizon for fighters to help me :/ I had that but it was my daughter. I am a terrible Dad as once I looked across from the game I was playing at 11pm and my 4 year old daughter had got bored watching me play and was asleep in the dog bed. I felt so bad
Warpig Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 My Wicked, patiently waiting for me to put the plane in the hangar so she can have her cuddle time. 1
6./ZG26_Custard Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Well our dog is from Germany, she was a rescue. She was called Taylor when we got her but we call her "Liz" She now keeps my Dad company and takes him for walks everyday!
THERION Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 (edited) And this is my girl... very moody. Sometimes she lets me fly but sometimes she draws my attention by chewing my control's cables.... Great! Edited November 28, 2017 by EAF_T_Therion 1

She used to breed them and at one point we had a permanent population of 15 that peaked at 25 when several gave birth around the same time! We had two mothers either side of the bed that kept swapping kittens by walking across us all night! We never worked out whether they were dumping them to get some peace or stealing them because they wanted more

Lusekofte Posted December 1, 2017 Posted December 1, 2017 I hunt, I like to see a usage of animals, eat them or hunt something to eat. I kind of fail seeing any use of this pug thing
