Missing kills in Campaign mode ... ?

I've just completed a BOS intercept mission during which I 100% definitely got 4 kills, possibly 5. I took down 2 IL-2s, saw the wings come off 2 of them under my fire with no one else around. I got another IL-2, saw him bail out, then at least one LA5, possibly 2. I headed back to the airfield feeling rather content. GOOD mission, landed, ended the completed mission, got a shedload of experience points and NO KILLS!!!

WHAT?!

This wasn't me thinking perhaps I got that kill, maybe ... this was absolutely definitely exploding aircraft on the deck caused by me.

I was not happy.

 

Has anyone else had this happen? There's a defect in the code somewhere and its very annoying. This wasn't a server connection issue because the mission ended as normal, got the experience points, got a quick summary update screen and nothing to see on the kills then straight back to the menu and a new mission within a minute .. no server issue this time.

Too late now, but did you happen to look at the Flight Log? I like to check it to see who got credit.

No, I didn't look at the log, it never occurred to me. However the kills DID show up here:  https://il2sturmovik.com/stats/campaign/3371-lensman/

just not in the 'game' mission result. I've just had the same thing happen again. I was on 399 kills after my last mission mentioned above, did another mission, shot down 3 LA-3 fighters, landed, got the experience points but NO kills.

I looked at my Campaign stats and there are the 3 extra kills!

There is a bug gentlemen and ladies ...
