dasstuka Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 are there any of the new IL2 Sturmovik games such as Battle Of Moscow Battle Of Stalingrad Battle Of Bodenplatte Flying Circus Volume 1 Tank Crew Clash At Prokhorovka That can be played with just the DVD alone and does NOT half to be logged on to steam ? Sometimes late at night the local net goes down for maintenance especially on Saturday or Sunday night and I don't have access to steam I have no problems with steam but sometime I want to play solo and NOT online Thanks ! Dastuka PS Keep up with the excellent work and IL2 :-)
Rjel Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 No I don't think so. The versions you can buy on this website can be played in a limited way offline. No campaigns.
6./ZG26_Custard Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 You can play in offline mode on steam? You can also launch the game in offline mode from steam.

Jade_Monkey Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 I wonder if the new campaign will need an interney connection. I'd assume it could work without one.
Nic727 Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 Talking about DVD, is there any way to release a new DVD from Excalibur Publishing? I know about all the stuffs regarding updates, etc., but I think having a dvd with the most recent version of the base game (or the launcher) and a great cover representing IL2 great battles could be nice for collectors like me I already bought everything, but I would be happy to buy again a DVD version.

They no longer produce them but I have seen old copies in shops.
