are there any of the new IL2 Sturmovik games such as

Battle Of Moscow

Battle Of Stalingrad

Battle Of Bodenplatte

Flying Circus Volume 1

Tank Crew Clash At Prokhorovka

That can be played with just the DVD alone and does NOT half to be logged on to steam ?

Sometimes late at night the local net goes down for maintenance especially on Saturday or Sunday night  and I don't have access to steam

I have no problems with steam but sometime I want to play solo and NOT online

Thanks !

Dastuka

PS  Keep up with the excellent work and IL2  :-)

No I don't think so. The versions you can buy on this website can be played in a limited way offline. No campaigns.

You can play in offline mode on steam? You can also launch the game in offline mode from steam.

I wonder if the new campaign will need an interney connection. I'd assume it could work without one.

Talking about DVD, is there any way to release a new DVD from Excalibur Publishing?

I know about all the stuffs regarding updates, etc., but I think having a dvd with the most recent version of the base game (or the launcher) and a great cover representing IL2 great battles could be nice for collectors like me :)

I already bought everything, but I would be happy to buy again a DVD version.

They no longer produce them but I have seen old copies in shops.
