Uriah Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 In CloD is it possible to use a tablet as a controller for this game? The idea being many of the controls visually controlled on the tablet rather than using a physical controller. The other day I was in a modern small plane and many of the controls were just done from a touch screen.
DenUA Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 Можно!
56RAF_Roblex Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 (edited) I used to use Power Grid on my Android tablet or phone. You could design a custom button panel to let you do any function in the game. You could also make macros. The free version allowed you three different screens I think so you could make one for fighters and one for bombers and one for something else, maybe wingman commands and gestures. https://play.google....ergrid&hl=en_GB You can build your own keys in custom sizes and make your own icons to put on them or just use text. Here is a screenshot of one of the screens I built for CLoD. It has some basic functions like flaps etc. as well as commands to change channels on Teamspeak and macros to adjust the gunsight widths while flying. IIRC the bombing page had things like 'Open Bomb bay' & 'Select Left Engine' and bomb sight controls etc. Edited November 23, 2017 by 56RAF_Roblex 2

Uriah Posted November 24, 2017 Author Posted November 24, 2017 Thanks Roblex. Just what I wanted. It looks so much better than using a keyboard.
Uriah Posted December 21, 2017 Author Posted December 21, 2017 I installed this Power-Grid on the PC and the app on the phone but I don't think this will work. The PC is connected to the internet by using a lan line. It is not connecting using WiFi. I think the app is looking for the wifi address and connection that the PC would be using, except that it is not using WIFI. Do I see the problem correctly?
