Saitek X56 throttle inputs don't do anything - BoS

Hello,

I just got this game and have never been on this forum before so sorry if this post does not match the standard etiquette -

Anyway, I noticed on my first and so far only attempt to fly that my X56 HOTAS throttle doesn't do anything. When I tried to rebind the controls, it still won't pick up any axis, button or otherwise although the joystick unit works fine.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is it fixable? If not, where can I look into getting a refund? I purchased this game from the official website.

Thanks in advance.

Before all you need assure that Joystick, Throttle are working for Windows.

Use Game Controllers - click in Start or Cortana or press Win key+R, type joy.cpl in the box and hit enter.

Look if Throttle is listed, if yes click in Properties and test their axes and buttons.

If are the controllers (joy, throttle, pedal, button box...) is OK in this Windows test there's no reason for a HID controller that Windows see OK don't work in any game that not wrong or no correct assign in games controls - what is need do manually  by player (DCSW try do this in though auto detection, but the result is less than desirable).

Thanks for the response!

It seems having other devices plugged in messed up the detection, now I feel a bit stupid...

Thanks anyway though.
