HagarTheHorrible Posted November 19, 2017 Posted November 19, 2017 Are interesting and varied Cloudscapes more important to multiplayer battles than purely historic and labour intensive maps ? Basically, for multiplayer, is the cloudscape more important than the landscape ?
Mitthrawnuruodo Posted November 19, 2017 Posted November 19, 2017 I would say that cloud variety is important. It seems the upcoming updates to the sky and horizon will be a large improvement. Hopefully things will look quite different depending on the weather.
ShamrockOneFive Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Interesting thoughts. I think the landscape is still the most important thing - roads, hills, valleys, rivers, etc are all going to determine how attackers/bombers operate and consequently the fighters who are defending or attacking. Still, I love that this sim is doing a great job with the clouds adding extra layers and the like.
Gambit21 Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Are interesting and varied Cloudscapes more important to multiplayer battles than purely historic and labour intensive maps ? Basically, for multiplayer, is the cloudscape more important than the landscape ? What's the mission? It has nothing to do with multi-player vs single player. We're flying around in the sky...it stands to reason that clouds are important. If we're attacking the ground, or representing a historic operation, then the map becomes equally as important. It's not a one or the other consideration.
