User manual for PWCG ?

Hello,

 

Where can I find informations on how to use PWCG 3.0.

• How can I select a map ? I go trough PWCG Information but when I create mission, I do not get the correct map.
• How "Skin Analysis" works. What is the use ?

The map gets selected automatically based on the Start Date of the campaign.

About all the skin stuff i´d like to hear too what is it about.

It is not only the start date, but also the squadron and the airfield, on which the squadron is stationed. There are starting dates, where both Moscow and Stalingrad are possible, and starting dates, where Stalingrad and Kuban are possible. Start PWCG and take a look into PWCG Information on the left side. Here you can look for the airfields for fighters, attack aircrafts and bombers on the three maps.

PWCG 3.0.1 offers a map filter on the campaign generator.  It also displays the map in the information text when a squadron is selected.

 

As Yogi points out, a squadron can move from map to map depending on  the date.

Thanks a lot for these precious informations.

 

So "PWCG Information" is not linked to the mission generation. It is an informative tab to help choosing type of mission ?

 

Map filter in mission generator is a great addition for me (not at all an expert in WWII planes and battles). A special thank to PW for this.

 

What about the "Skin Analysis" then"? What is it for and what can I do with the information reported ?

Skin Analysis is much more useful for RoF, which has a much richer (hundreds, maybe thousands) skin set.  It tells the user what is available and what they might be missing. 

 

PWCG for BoX does not have anywhere near the configured skin set.  I have no idea what skins are available, what their dates of use might be, who they are associated with. etc.
