A huge thankyou to the developers!

Salute everyone,

Just wanted to express my gratitude for the Battle of Bodenplatte, etc. Definitely investing at some point. Love the way this sim is developing and hats off to Jason and the developers, it really is astounding what you have accomplished!

On another note, I cant believe how much people are already complaining in some threads. What more do you want? You're getting a highly requested theatre of war with a wide array of aircraft, an essentially revamped Rise of Flight and a tank sim, AND this will most likely be expanded upon in future releases.

Anyhow, looking forward to the future!

It's OK. You have to accept some complaining. Everyone has their own vision of what this sim should be and it's not always going to match the given output.

I think, also some people get upset by over speculating and trying to second guess the final product. Reading too much to what was said and assuming rightly or wrongly that the initial words dictate the final result. Their visions may be far beyond what is technically and financially possible at a given time.

You need people to complain. If everyone agreed with everything you did, said or made then you or the produced product would never change, never improve and end up meeting the minimum requirements requiring the least amount of effort.

The only bad complaints are ones with no background or intellectual reasoning. Such a complaint won't ever help to improve something, only to be a momentary flash of fire that is extinguished and forgotten about or ignored going forward. Given a case, an intellectual argument with a logical thought process will certainly be noteworthy and may even be used going forward to improve a product.

EDIT - Personally not all the new content was to my liking, but there were many things that made sense in the bigger picture for this sim. There were also announcements of changes that were long overdue. Given the amount I have personally enjoyed the current content it would be silly to complain about these new changes. I have seen many changes, there will be many more to come and I will do my best, given time to attempt to adjust to any reasonable and logical changes. Changes that attempt to dismantle the reputation and previous works will be brought into question though. The new changes will be good for the game and will hopefully bring new players, new friends to join the community of players currently enjoying the game and thus allow the continuation of the games vision to its unknown final conclusion. That has to be a good thing for everyone.

Can't wait to get my hand on the P51d !!!!

I think commercial, it is a wise decission to go for the late western front.

Only I would, pure for commercial reasons, use the Mustang and ME262 as an collectors plane. Leave the P38 for the future pacific and get the Typhoon for bob.

FC1 seems to be the first in a range, can not wait to try this using a nextgen VRset.

The tankgame looks nice for the tank fans, but not my cup of tea.
