Noob questions: Clickable cockpits and controllable ground forces

I'm a DCS veteran looking to get a WW2 fix. I understand that the devs have sworn off clickable cockpits, but there were some past entries that had them. Which modules have them and what were their limitations?

 

Also, looking for a singleplayer ground combat fix. Which games have controllable tanks like in the below vid? Just Battle of Stalingrad?

Nothing in the IL-2: BoX series has ever had clickable cockpits. You may be thinking of IL-2: Cliffs of Dover. As for controllable tanks, they are listed as being available for both Moscow and Stalingrad (https://il2sturmovik.com/) as well as the upcoming Kuban release. And of course we will be getting the Tank Crew – Clash at Prokhorovka stuff at some point.
