By the way, your map is missing the "Novosokolniki" map. There is also "Lapino" and "Practice Lake" (the latter of which is from Rise-of-Flight). Although they are real maps, they have fictitious towns, so I can see why they would be left off.

Kiev and Smolensk would be great additions to this series, as would Kharkov, given that that would use the same aircraft that we already have (and Kursk, though it is a little less interesting from a cartographic perspective)

Wow il2:1946 covered a lot... although small maps such variety for planesets...

Back in those days, the maps were much easier to build

Anyway, I'm not sure all the maps in the old IL-2 were 1:1 scale.

I think most of the maps were about much lower in scale than reality. Some of the newer ones might have been one to one.
