Yep, very definitely collide-with-able. I've often clipped them, flown on for a second longer, then had a major part of my plane fall off, just when I thought I might have gotten away with it.

Yep, especially when you pull up and a bit of your plane doesn't pull up with you!

I flew down the main road to  pepper a truck and just missed a tree by millimeters as I pulled out. I could feel the sense of relief because my heart actually missed a beat as I pulled up in time and missed it. All this was short lived though when I forgot to drop my landing gear before touch down and ended up in a heap at main base.
