Disconnecting the chat from the opponent

Hi all!

 

Some question,

 

I believe that in the war, the pilots did not talk to the opponents pilots, do we have any command to disconnect the chat from the opponent?

After you typed your message hold 'ctrl' and press 'enter'. That gives you team chat. You have to do that with every message though.

Would be a lot better if it was the other way round. Enter = team chat ; ctrl+enter = public chat...

That's a server-side setting, no?  I don't think TAW and Random Expert have kill messages.

The point itls that you cant go back and read older mesaages.

 

I think WOL has kill msges.

You can turn off kill messages in settings.. it got annoying to hear 30 beeps and half the screen taken up by someone destroying a convoy...

 

Also, to scroll back on messages you have to be in the 'select airfield' screen, and on the left there should be a tab to show all messages from the point you logged into server..

 

Custom hud layout and window size would be nice, but as is, the hud affects fps.. not sure if resizing, adding/removing windows would help

Mark my words, if mods on mode comes, and we can change all the on screen text ooooooohweeeee I'm modding the giant chat into a tiny box in the corner so hard, Spirit of '46 baby!

I might be wrong and I have not checked but I thought I had seen a setting somewhere to let you swap over the keys.

You can swap the key binds in the options but it doesn't seem to have an effect in game for some reason.
