We are one of the oldest virtual IL2 Squadrons with a diverse membership from all  4 corners of the globe.

 

Our members keep alive, the skills paid for in blood, by the original 334th Squadron in the skies over Europe and Korea.

 

We generall prefer to fly "Open Pit" to more accurately simulate real and unobstructed visibility made possible with head movement and binocular vision around windscreen pillars.

I read a rumor the game was going to be made compatible for laptops.  Have you heard this is true?  The reason I ask is I tried to play the game before on a desk top, but the frame rate was impossible to cope with.  It turned out the desk top wouldn't accept a video excelerator card, so I was out of luck.  I may have to collect more information and try to find another computer, video card, and such to play the game.  I am looking for a USAF fighter group, but will try almost anything.  I am retired USAF.
