santiagojamesaea Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 Hi everyone, i recently bought the Ju52 and have been thrilled with the missions....resupply and paradrop are just great, but as ever i wanted to adapt them to my SP experience. So, following wht i'm sure i did in ROF i 1: Loaded the mission and played it.(Full length, i thought that air starting might confuse things) 2: opened the FMB and found the _gen mission (that's the last one played right!) and opened it 3: Fiddled with it...changed the time (why do ALL the missions take place at twilight?), clouds , name and description. 4: went to "file save as" in the top line from the FMB, created a new folder call "Transport Missions" and saved it to that folder with the title of "Ju52 Transport ParaDrop Mission". 5: i then left the editor and went into the main game folder, data/missions/Transport Missions and checked that all the files were there, they were. But, when i go to play the game and go to "missions" i see the file "Transport Missions " but when i open it it's "empty", the mission does not show. Can anyone please tell me what i'm doing wrong....Please!! Many thanks!!!
Habu Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 (edited) I already have that. 1- Go in the Data folder and delete the file ctreecache.eng (do a backup of the file) 2- If point 1 doesnt work. Open the file and SAVE AS the mission in another folder. You can also check that the kind of the mission is single. Edited November 13, 2017 by Habu

santiagojamesaea Posted November 12, 2017 Author Posted November 12, 2017 okay everybody, thank you. I'm away from home at the moment but will check it out as soon as i get back (wednesday) many thanks
LLv34_Temuri Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 You can also get the mission by checking the name of the .msnbin file of the mission, opening that mission in the Mission Editor, and saving it. That results in the .mission file.
coconut Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 (edited) You can use that file to replay and review the mission in DCS World Someone had one beer to many at the pub. Wrong game! Habu's advice is the correct answer, I believe. Edited November 13, 2017 by coconut

santiagojamesaea Posted November 24, 2017 Author Posted November 24, 2017 Many thanks to all , it's working . It would appear that my fault was not making it a "single mission" in the editor.. Very silly!!! once again, many thanks to all.
