CanadaOne Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 I saw that at an airshow at the McDill AFB in Tampa years and years ago. 1
Uufflakke Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 Change the environment into a museum of contemporary art and it is... conceptual installation art! 1
Holtzauge Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 Too bad you can still see the wheels but I hear the Yanks are working on that as well. Right now only the Russian have a complete stealth aircraft that is totally invisible but that is using plasma stealth: Very stronk and top sekret. No dokumantsj to be found anywhere........
Ghost666 Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 Right after the F-117 came into the public eye one was scheduled for the air show at Buckley Air Force base east of Denver. I was assigned to a security unit at Buckley at the time and the unit was assigned to provide security for the unique asset, the F-117. We had all the signs (the one that says "Restricted Area Deadly force authorized") and chains in place for the show the next day. Well the F-117 never showed up. We left the chains and the signs in place and had an armed guard walking the area. You should of seen the people trying to see the plane from this angle or that angle.
indiaciki Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 hm... it was not that invisibe after all (First week in 1999) :D
