Just a little idea Don't you think it would be nice? Many devs have this kind of stores with tshirts, cups aand stuff like that. Extra money and i would love to have real stalingrad, moscow etc game map (not ugly AA4 print on my black/white printer), IL2 tshirt with stuka on it

No microtransactions. They are a reminder of dark times not all that long ago. It used to be necessary to pay for little things like aircraft loadouts and modifications. Fortunately that is no longer the case. I doubt many people here would want to return to that era.

Furthermore, there are already very many products related to Eastern Front/Great Patriotic War aviation available.

 

Although they are not explicitly related to BoX, they are sufficient for most people.

 

It is not hard to find things with 'Il-2' inscriptions.

I tried to talk Jason into doing some T-shirts for RoF several years ago - he very kindly gave me permission to create a mock-up sample for my own personal use:

 

 

But even this simple one done through one of the online T-shirt makers was pretty expensive, and the cost of doing a really nice one was pretty exhorbitant (plus all the other issues he mentioned in his more recent post), so the idea didn't go anywhere.

If you really want to have a products like a t-shirt, mugs or anything alike it is very simple:

Create your own design and upload it to the company where you usually order your photoprints.

Nowadays most of them offer prints on shirts, bags, mugs, albums or on stretched canvases.

Even in the small town where I live the local printshop offer prints on shirts and canvases.

 

Perhaps it is also an idea to have the smiling face of Jason on your pillow printed.

Considering all the crap that mainstream video games are packed with nowadays, I'd say Space Ghost is no point. First there is cosmetic microstransactions then we get loot boxes and the whole game is built around that.

How one person customizes their cockpit should be of absolutely no concern to any other person. And if it is a concern to that other person, the suggestion that the other person gets a life, and does not succumb to the evils of being joyless puritans, might be in order.

 

If I want a Mickey Mouse bobble head figurine on the cockpit of my Spitfire, how on Earth can that possibly bother anyone else on the planet unless that person is a morose shmuck who can't deal with the idea that someone somewhere might be having fun.

All I would want in my plane, would be a pin-up custom photo option.. I really enjoyed that from clod...

Scarf's and streamers were a good example in rof... we wouldn't need them now but perhaps custom attire for pilot wold be nice,..*hem* oxygen mask...

I know it's said to just buy the product and that's how we show support, but not everyone I know plays flight Sims, or evendors have a pc to try, sad, very sad...

I have one friend that even knows what a spitfire i's, and come Christmas I'll be purchasing a BOX title as a gift.. to drag them over from dcs
