Good Day!, Pat your an awesome man!

 

I have a problem, i started a Dserver qhit the mission on coop, and all te players are ready and the mission wont start, if i host the mission it starts when i hit ready...

Any one manage to launch a PWCG mission in a coop Dserver?

I had not seen that option in the PWCG configuration......
And I started editing the mission with the editor and changing sufff!!! Big LOL at myself!!!!

I tried the "simple" way and the mission worked ok.

Now I have a question:
 

The skins of the airplanes not flown by humans are loaded ok.

Is there a way to keep those skins when an aircraft is selected by a player. I tried a couple of times and whenever i select an airplane it appears in the setup screen with the default skin.

I've been watching this thread closely. I don't blame you, I did the same thing. I didn't know there was that option in PWCG. This is going to make COOPs so much more fun; glad PWCG was already in place a long time ago. I guess the next part is seeing if we can have additional flights of other plane types open for a coop.

Hi Pat, just had a really superb mission with PWCG. Only problem is that the combat report isn't working - it ran into an error and instructed me to post this .zip file here. Any idea of what's going on? I'm hoping that I'll be able to submit the report without flying the mission again - it was one of the best missions I've flown.

I had the same problem, nice to know I'm not the only one, flew the mission 2 days ago.  Working long hours now and I really don't have the time to try and figure it out.  Thanks.

uhmmmm ....I have to admit I am unable to find the COOP setting in PWCG :blush:

Could somebody help me out, please?

For anyone looking for the Coop setting, open PWCG, go to "Configuration", then "User preferences", and change the "Use Coop" field from "0" to "1".

 

it should drop the mission straight into the coop folder when it generates.

 

Any idea as to when we can expect the 3.001 aircraft to be added to this?  Thanks!

See other thread.  I have been playing Kingdom Come Deliverance for the past month.  The new release has broken AAR, so I have to fix that first.  Then the planes which will take a bit.  I also made promises per skins that I have not yet kept, but I intend to.

Yes of course. I'm finishing up and I will try to post a neutral version and both VVS and LW oriented ones.

Hello guys.

Like the new version alot,but have some issues..

Combat report not working.

And does anyone know how the turn on enemy markers, waypoint etc

Cant find anything in the dark.

I believe that would be the "i" key.

I have mine assigned to a button on my throttle, for ease of toggling on and off.

Beautyful work with the new background! Did you replace the files under BoSData/Images/Misc or did you use a Program/Tool to make it?

:unsure: got a window's message saying (sorry translation form french) : windows can't get the access to the device or specified file. Maybe youn don't have the appropriated authorizations to have access to the element.

I installed the 3.3.3 as previous versions anyway. Missed anything?

Not sure that I understand the error.  Was this on unzip?

 

As long as it says 3.3.3 you should be fine.  The only change was to the code.  None of the other files in the package are different.

That's next.  I needed to get this one out quickly as there is no use doing further development if it doesn't work :)

No unzip runs fine into my game folder program Files/1C Game Studios/Il-2/PWCGCampaign.

it's by clicking on the PWCGBos.exe that the windows' alert pops up.

By the way here is the PWCGErrorLog.txt I have

oups maybe something to see with Kaspersky protection. I've checked and allowed PWCG application as safe in Kaspersky and now I'haven't anymore windows saying : " windows can't get the access to the device or specified file. Maybe youn don't have the appropriated authorizations to have access to the element" but the problem is different now. As soon as I click on PWCG.exe the little blue circle keeps on flashing and PWCG doesn't open...Same problem if I clsoe Kaspersky...I tried to download PWCG 3.3.3 again and re-install but it didn't fix the problem....Keeping on searching but pitty I can't play right now.

Thank Pat for updating PWCG to 3.001.  Just tried 3 missions in 3 different planes and all is now working as advertised.:)

No way. Impossible to fix my 3.3.3 PWCG installation. First time it happens. I had no problem with each PWCG updates but with 3.3.3 i've got no issue with my computer...

Any link to download the 3.3.2 again? T hanks

Thanks for the 3.3.3 Pat. The AAR issue is gone even with the COOP mode. Great work!

Going to need a bit of time to set up a link.  I will be very curious if 3.3.2 works for you.  The only difference between 3.3.2 and 3.3.3 is some mundane Java code changes to fix log file parsing.  No changes at all in config files, structure, etc.

Damned computer! Don't ask me how. Don't ask me why but the witches left my computer...I've downloaded 3.3.3 again, installed and it.....works!

Hi Pat. Really enjoying the use of COOP for this now. Since COOP is now available to us I'm wondering if that leaves some opportunities of development down the line.

 

A couple of things came to mind for the use of coop:

 

  • Multiple squadrons available for coop pick (ie-having different planes available to fly such as fighters, bombers, etc) in the coop lobby.
  • Having the briefing text visible to all besides the first player slot. I noticed that others cannot see the briefing text, so I had to read it for them.
  • A way to edit the names of pilots in PWCG so it reflects the names of actual pilots who will fly, such as one's squad mates. Also, able to start or edit a new pilot in PWCG with 0 flights and 0 air kills for your wingmates.
  • Some way to export the information in a debriefing and campaign that can be shared so your wingmates can see what happened besides the pilot who is running PWCG. Even if its a text or excel friendly text that can be uploaded and shared somewhere. (Maybe it does this already, I don't know).

These are just suggestions in my mind; the program already does a great job. Thanks again.

It's something to think about.  PWCG is heavily centered around the SP experience, yet much of the treatment of player vs AI it is common.  Software is soft, so it's certainly possible.  Just not sure what the level of effort is.

Since I've been getting more and more into PWCG, and really enjoying it, I'm wondering why there are no ground attack missions for the Bf109 E7?.  I have not found any yet.

 

Do they happen at some point?

I just noticed this morning that E7 squadrons are listed as fighter units.  That is wrong.  I will correct it in the next release.  In the meantime, if you feel comfortable editing a text file, you can look at a Zestorer squadron file and use as an example to change the config on your E7 squadron.
