Lensman Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 (edited) Hello all. Some advice please. Occcasionally my PC crashes or the IL-2 server drops out and the game spins into infinity after a mission and I'm forced to kill the process. Either way, sometimes I lose all my key and controller settings as a result which is extremely irritating. I used to know how to back up the controls file but I've forgotten or never known for BOX ... Any advice about the best way to achieve this please so I don't have to input it all again whilst swearing? Thanks if so. Edited November 7, 2017 by Lensman
Thad Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Salutations, Save a copy of your your 'input' folder. 1
Chief_Mouser Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 (edited) I lose my settings if I forget to start the Warthog Target software and profile before the game itself. The specific files I need to back up within the input folder are current.map, current.actions and devices.txt, plus startup.cfg in the data folder. Cheers. Edited November 9, 2017 by 216th_Cat 1
VesseL Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 (edited) Hi. I did once copy this from a similar thread: backup is the "Input" folder (in the data folder) the "Snapviews" folder (in data/luascripts) and Startup.cfg file (in the data folder). Then you dont have to do any settings again. Edited November 9, 2017 by VesseL 1
