E69_Chipi Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 (edited) I am using a triple screen monitor config with a 6050x1200 bezel corrected resolution.I have adjusted FOV for the different cockpits, fighters and bombers, and it works good. The problem is when I want to use the bombsight of the He-111 The controls and gauges are pushed to the outer sides of the side monitors, which is uncomfortable, but workable. But the sight itself is displayed zoomed in, cropped at the bottom and top, which makes it very difficult to use. Unlike the normal cockpit, trying to get a bigger FOV zooming out (for example with the muse wheel) does not make any change. BOMSIGHT VIEW COCKPIT VIEW Is there any way to get the bomb sight displayed "normally" as if i only had one monitor? Or at least to get the full circle of the sight?Thank you Edited November 3, 2017 by Chipi
JimTM Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Jason mentioned plans for "Re-vamped Triple Monitor Support" in his "Announcing Battle of Kuban and Development Plan!" post. Perhaps the problem you describe will be resolved once the Kuban project is wrapped up.

coconut Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 (edited) Try enablig the 3d hud in your startup.cfg: 3dhud = 1 or_hud_size = 0.25 Experiment with the HUD size to so that it fits your screen, you'll probably need something smaller than 0.25.On the login screen, you might not be able to use the mouse. Simply press Enter. The mouse should work after that. One benefit is that you can now open the map while flying and keep an eye on the horizon at the same time. Edited November 3, 2017 by coconut 1

As for the ingame map, I never use it. I always use printed maps...
E69_Chipi Posted May 5, 2018 Author Posted May 5, 2018 (edited) So big update was released. It is awesome with all the improvements and be features, but this issue was not solved. It is impossible to do level bombing with this zoomed and cropped display. My question (to the devs) is: Is this in the to-do list, even with a low priority, or is the issue going to be disregarded completely? The triple monitor UI is not user friendly, but it is functional. The problem with the BombSight is that we are losing some of the game features. I know that we 3 monitor users are a small fraction of the customer base, but please, let us know at least if it is in your plans to fix it or not. I will keep supporting the game series and buying most of the stuff, but for example, if a level bomber is released as a collector aircraft, it would be good to know if I'm going to be able to fully use it before buying it. Thanks. Edited May 5, 2018 by Chipi
