5th_Barone Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Don't you that the damage of that cannons is overpowered against the ship? Is it a 30mm after all right? I mean... u-boot needed LOTS of their 88mm shot to destroy a ship. So much that in fact captains prefer to use almost every time their torpedoes. The ground looks really improved on the other way. I personally really like the tree lines that have been added.
Sokol1 Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Don't you that the damage of that cannons is overpowered against the ship? Red Tails style, people like "Hollywood" in games.
Mysticpuma Posted October 29, 2017 Author Posted October 29, 2017 DM of the Corvette has got some love since this footage was created.....final tweaks being put in place but it's always nice to show work in progress 1
smink1701 Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Looks great... love the explosions! Any chance of finessing the illuminated reticle like it appears in the early promo vid? Currently the illumination effect seems to be just on the edges. Thanks! Really looking forward to this!
19//Moach Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 (edited) Really enjoyed that fuel truck explosion in the end! Even BoX lacks this much, as blowing up fuel stores makes no bigger blast than anything else less flamable... It would only make sense, though, blow up anything volatile like that and everything else nearby should go up with it. I liked how it took out the trucks, but not the tanks near it. Fuel is a low explosive, which goes boom well enough, but is unlikely to detonate at normal atmosphere. (create a shockwave faster than sound, as a high explosive would) That means it could take out soft vehicles, but heavy armor would suffer relatively little damage from a fuel bomb (if it doesn't catch fire). A wonderful touch of rather explosive realism. Edited October 29, 2017 by 19//Moach
